Lake Norman Family Portrait Photographer – The “B” Family

I recently had the pleasure of spending time with the “B” family at the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens.  It was my first time I’ve had a portrait session here and I know it won’t be the last!  So beautiful…  and so many backdrops to choose from.  Like many of my SLP families, I met this brother / sister combo when doing my preschool sessions this Spring.

Big sister had fallen asleep on the way, so we decided to let her sleep a bit longer.  I say never wake a sleeping child… especially right before a photo session!  🙂 We can wait!  So, she got her rest and once she woke up we were on a roll!

Sweet girl…

Most of the time my favorite images come from the interaction among the family when they think I’m not looking.  It’s where you feel the love the most.  These are the moments we want to hold onto.

And, what’s a day without a sweet little daddy / daughter moment!  A perfect way to end a session… in daddy’s arms.

Thank you “B” family for choosing me to capture these special moments.  I hope you love them as much as I loved creating them.
