When one of my families contacted me about a surprise “cousin” session for her sister while the littles were in town, I did not hesitate.  First of all, I can’t help but giggle along with their sweet little girls every time I’m around them!

Secondly, I get it.  I know how hard it is to be away from family.  I know how much you want to strive to keep that closeness while being miles away.  I know how much you long for your kids to know each other, to love and care for eachother… now and forever.

As I walked in that morning, I could see the love and admiration these cousins shared for each other.  And, while the bonding experience of 5 kids (under 5 years old and under one roof for 5 days) left the adults in need of a week’s rest, you couldn’t wipe the smiles from their faces.  They wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

I was so thrilled to be able to do this for this sweet family and I’m so thankful to be able to call them my friends.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I am off to call my nephews to start coordinating clothing for Jones cousin portraits 2016.  😉  ’til next time!
